Obituary of Victoria Shdanov

Victoria Shdanov, 90, of Tucson Arizona passed away at 8:17 am on October 31, 2021.

Victoria was born December 8, 1930 in Krematorsk, Ukriane.  She was the daughter of Wasily & Maria Schachow, and had one brother, Vasa.

Victoria married Peter Shdanov July 24, 1948 in Munich, Germany.  They arrived in America as Displaced Persons on September 27, 1950 with their 11-month old son.

Peter & Victoria Shdanov had 4 children.  The oldest, a son they named Victor.  Then 3 daughters -- Valentina, Ellen and Melodie.  They lived in Trenton, New Jersey after arriving to America.  Victoria's husband, Peter, moved the family of 3 to Tucson, Arizona because of his health.  The youngest daughter, Melodie was born in Tucson.

Victoria was a people person -- she loved everyone she had the pleasure of meeting.  She would hug them and kiss them.  As a young mother, she would spend hours preparing food for guests to enjoy at her home.  Victoria had a reputation for giving things away -- sometimes to the dismay of her husband Peter.  She was blessed of the Lord with a generous soul, and will be missed by her family and her friends.
