Obituary of Donald James Alexoff

Donald J. "PopPop" Alexoff 75, of Tucson, AZ, born in Gary, IN, July 8, 1936 and passed away, January 31, 2012. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and great-uncle. His passing was preceded by that of his parents, George and Julia Alexoff and his brother, Carl Alexoff. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Olson, Kandis Alexoff, Melissa Zachau and Anne Underwood; granddaughters, Sarah Lawrence and Danielle Olson; great-granddaughter, Brial-Rose Dunson; brother, James (Mariealena) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In 1977, he moved with his family to Tucson and was employed at Hughes Aircraft until retiring in 1994. A talented artist he was recognized for his work as a young man and continued to share his artistry. He enjoyed sports, playing baseball, bowling and golfing. An outdoorsman his passion was bass fishing. He was an active member of Old Pueblo Bass Anglers and Big Brothers Big Sisters. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Service at 1:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd.
