Obituary of Jason Duane Grothe

Jason Duane Grothe, age 41, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on January 23, 2018. He is survived by his beloved father, Duane A. Grothe; his mother, Marsha J. VanSteenburg; his stepmother, Diana L. Grothe; his stepfather, George A. VanSteenburg; his siblings, Sonya D. Stewart, Jeremy J. Grothe, and Andrea R. Clark; and his numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces. Jason preceded in passing; by his grandmother, Lela Grothe; grandfather Herman Grothe; grandmother, Eula (Jackie) Hallinger; grandfather, William Hallinger; his step-grandmother Shirley Herpolsheimer; and his stepbrother, Thomas Clark II. February 18, 1976, Jason was born a true fighter and refused to let anything get in his way of accomplishing what he wanted to get done. He was the Family's personal fact finder; if anyone ever needed to find something via the internet, we would just call Jason. Jason would find the answer! He was also the jokester and the lead foreman for dad! Always voicing his opinions, whatever job that dad would be working on, Jason would be right by his side making sure that dad was doing it the right way! Jason beat all the odds that were against him and lived his life to the fullest! A small private viewing for the immediate Family will be held at Brings Broadway Chapel, Monday, January 29, 2018. In remembrance of Jason, the Family would like to invite you to join them for a small celebration of his life at his Family's home at 2670 N Calle Tarde, Tucson, AZ 85749 beginning at 4:30 P.M.
