Obituary of Beverly Ann (Reno) Foster

Beverly Ann (Reno) Foster, passed into eternal life on May 23, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona succumbing to complications from a fall.  Beverly was born in Clinton, NE October 26, 1933 to Howard Virgil Reno and Betty Marie (Parrott) Reno.  She graduated from Hay Springs High School in 1952 and proceeded to the National School of Business in Rapid City, SD graduating in 1953.  Beverly married into the military and spent the next years moving (Spain, Massachusetts, Montana, Minnesota, Indiana, Texas, finally Tucson, AZ in 1978) and raising three children.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Herschel, sisters Jean Feddersen of Hay Springs, NE; Susan Coomes of Rapid City, SD;  sons Broc Foster, Littleton, CO and Rick Foster, Fort Worth, TX.  Beverly is survived by daughter, Tammie Foster Weaver (Lee) Tucson, AZ; Daughter-in-Law Marilyn Foster, Fort Worth TX;  Granddaughters Alicia Young, Roanoke, TX; Carrie Miller, Roaring Spring, PA, Tana Weaver, Tucson, AZ; Grandson Brandon Foster, Fort Worth, TX; sister, Bobbi Railsback, Santee, CA; 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverly was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.  She loved family dinners, gardening, plants, cooking, embroidery, needlework, cross stitch, sewing and was an avid reader.  She participated at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church women’s craft group for several years and was known as the pickle lady because she always sold out her pickles and beets at their annual October fundraiser.  When her husband retired, they enjoyed summers in Hay Springs, traveling by car to visit family and friends. 

Beverly will be interred At All Faith’s Memorial Park in Tucson at 11:00 am June 24, 2022.
