Obituary of Daniel Alvin Woodard

Daniel Alvin Woodard, 89 years old, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on March 13, 2023 from complications from the flu and pneumonia. He was predeceased by his daughter, Teresa Williams, parents Alvin and Lillian Woodard and siblings Bob, Edith, and Sally. He has left behind his wife of 63 years, Olimpia, son-in-law, Roy Williams, grandchildren, Michelle and Danny, and great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Alex, Sophia, and Gabriella.  Dan retired from the United States Air Force in 1973 and again from Civil Service in 1995.  Dan was quite a social butterfly. He coached baseball and football, bowled and played poker with his friends regularly for years and entered his restored 1957 Chevy in many car shows.  He loved his family, Cardinals baseball, sweets and country music- in that order. 

A memorial service will be held in his honor at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on March 24, 2023 at Bring’s Funeral Home located at 6910 E Broadway Blvd Tucson, AZ 85710.
