Obituary of Rebecca Hedstrom

Rebecca Hedstrom (Armijo) Becky was born to Uly and Bea Armijo, on May 11, 1935, and joined them in their heavenly rest on February 16, 2024. Her father was a guard at the camp on Mount Lemmon where they lived. She graduated from Tucson High School (1953) and Saint Mary’s School of Nursing (1956), as a Registered Nurse. Becky was a public health nurse for Pima and Maricopa Countys. This was a Career she was extremely proud to have been a part of. Becky married Paul Hedstrom in 1956. She and Paul was a member of the sports car club here in Tucson, and an avid U of A basketball and football teams. She is also survived by her children Michael Hedstrom (Mike Nagle), Nadine Constantino (Robert Constantino - 2020) and Eric Hedstrom. Becky is also survived by her sister Anita Lumpkin (James), a Nephew, Nieces, and many Cousins and friends. Becky never was one to not try to help others, because of this she was and will be well remembered. Services will be held at New Spirit Lutheran Church 8701 East Old Spanish Trail Tucson, AZ 85710. at 10am, Saturday March 2, 2024. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Casa de los Nino’s, The Community Food Bank, and other Children's Charities.
