To all of the Motzkin Family, we have lost a true, true friend and an Associate. Bob was one of the first people we met when we arrived in Arizona and attended our first convention. From that day forward we knew we could always turn to Bob for advice and help. He was one of the founding members of the "Water Board", who helped establish the funeral pre-need law in Arizona.
The community and the profession has lost a true gentleman and a friend. Rest In Peace My Friend!!!

Dear Family and Friends of Bob Motzkin - Bobbi and I were very saddened to hear about the death of Bob, a colleague and friend in the industry for many years that we truly respected. Our sincere condolences go out to the entire family including, of course, his mother Mary, whom I had the pleasure of knowing back in the days his father Harry was with the Diocese of Tucson Catholic Cemeteries. Over the years since then Bob and I had several occasions to work together on some important projects and I always appreaciated his approach - VERY firm and ALWAYS fair! Due to pre-arranged family events with our grandchildren we will not be able to attend the service at the funeral home and cemetery this Saturday. Please give are regards to all those who are there for Bob.
Sincerely,
Dave and Bobbi Hepburn

The knowledge Bob had for the funeral profession, particularly the cemetery side of the business will probably never be matched by anyone.. . . . unless you were fortunate enough to have been mentored by him. Even then, you'll never know what he knew. His dedication to making sure things were done correctly helped everyone in our business become better at what we did. He was a straight shooter and expected the best from us all. In return, he always gave his best. . . . 200% plus! I hope SCI realized how fortunate they were to have him on their team. He would have made ANY other company a better place. The profession has lost a smart, talented and dedicated man. His love for his family was so very apparent. They held a huge place in his heart. I pray that God will be with Fran and the family through this difficult time.
