Obituary of Robert Harry Motzkin

Robert Harry Motzkin passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. Bob began working in funeral service at the age of 19 and enjoyed a successful career with Service Corporation International for the past 35 years. Bob’s life changed when he met and married his best friend and soul mate, Fran. He loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Julie “Punkin” and father, Harry. Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Fran; his son Matthew (Andrea); grandchildren, Jack and Nicholas; son Dennis Fossler; grandson, Carl; son Dale Fossler; grandchildren Nathan, Glen, and Paul; daughter, Lorelei Findley (Keith); grandchildren, Sara Watson (Jon), Tama Majors (Jeremy), and Alodie; great-grandchildren, Grant and Wesley; mother, Mary Motzkin; mother-in-law, Louise Barnes; siblings, Edward, his twin brother (Joyce) Motzkin, Charlene (Alex) Carrillo, Greg Motzkin, Bryan (Debra) Motzkin, Michael (Ginny) Motzkin, Mary Ann (David) Keller, Belinda Motzkin Brauer, numerous family members and friends. All service will be held at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Road, Tucson, Arizona. Funeral Mass, 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 29, 2012. Visitation, 5â€"8P.M., Friday, September 28, 2012 with Rosary at 7PM. Bob’s final resting place will be in Holy Hope Cemetery.
